DARDING, Harry

Harry M. Darding of Attica, age 60, died Saturday night, January 17, in Williamsport Community Hospital. He was born in Williamsport, September 4, 1920, the son of Ray Harrison and Myrtle Swartz Darding. June 1, 1946, he married Phyllis Straube, who survives.

  Darding was a member of Attica Christian Church and Moose Lodge and Williamsport American Legion. He served with the Sea Bees during World War II and was a machine operator at Ross Gear Company in Lafayette before retiring in 1977.

  Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Armstrong of Albany, Oregon, and Mrs. Debby Wilkerson of Attica; a son, Harry Jr. of Attica; a sister, Mrs. Juanita Holland of Shelbyville, Illinois; a brother, Jack of Lima, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. James Boudouris officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
